Masters Of Adaptability

Organizations today need employees who can adapt to change with professionalism, determination, and optimism.  While many of us tend to resist change, we must not lose sight of the fact that change is everywhere.

History has proven this fact time and time again.  Humanity evolves because we are masters of adaptability.  People throughout history have taken risks and experienced major changes which have created new opportunities.  We have adapted to new cultures and created inventions that have transformed our lives.  We have grown and developed from agriculture to industry to information as the defining characteristic of our society.

Much of our resistance to change is generated by fear.  What do we fear about change?  We may fear the unknown, not being in control, or leaving a comfort zone.  What is YOUR fear of change?  How can you overcome that fear?

We'll continue this discussion next time.  Meanwhile, we'd love to hear from YOU!

Until next time...
